Darnhall Primary School PE school vision statement
For all children at Darnhall Primary School we provide excellence in PE through promoting healthy active lifestyles, engaging in competitive activities and developing determination to excel in a broad range of PE activities. We want all children to become physically literate through the delivery of high quality Physical Education, School Sport & Physical Activity, whilst raising awareness of Health & Wellbeing that will lead to lifelong participation and enjoyment of sport and physical activity. Our scheme of work Complete PE helps to do this and offers a wide range of opportunities for our children. We hope to inspire, enthuse and motivate our children into a life- long interest and engagement with PE in its many different forms.
School Games Mark
Darnhall primary school has actively engaged in the School Games Mark for a number of years. For the past two years, we have been awarded the Platinum level for participation in competitions and promoting healthy life styles throughout our school. We are very proud of this award and our aim is to maintain this award for many years to come.
Competitions
We have been apart of a wide range of sporting competitons this year involving almost all of our children in KS2 and have also offerered opportunities for KS1 children to explore their skills outside of our school.

After School Clubs
Active After School clubs will be made available to KS1 & KS2 children during the Autumn term. These clubs will be released on this web page when they have been confirmed by the School office.
